Lawyer from the University of Chile, she is one of the most recognized experts in infrastructure, concessions, natural resources, and corporate governance. Her experience combines a solid public service career with high-level private practice, enabling her to advise investors and boards of directors on strategic decisions and regulatory risk management.

Loreto was Minister of Public Works during the first government of President Sebastián Piñera and currently serves on the boards of Barrick, Aguas Metropolitanas, ICAFAL, and GNL.

Previously, Loreto was president of the Board of Directors of the National Petroleum Company, Aguas Cordillera S.A., and an independent director of ENDESA América S.A. and Aguas Andinas S.A.

Loreto advises the Infrastructure Policy Council, the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, the Liberty and Development Institute, and Comunidad Mujer. She is a member of the ESE Business School’s Circle of Directors and an arbitrator at the Santiago Arbitration and Mediation Center (CAM Santiago), specializing in infrastructure.

She has been recognized with the 100 Leading Women award four times.

Loreto was a lawyer for the Chilean Chamber of Construction and the Association of Public Works Concessionaires, and a partner at the law firms Morales y Besa and Bofill, Escobar, Silva.
