Lawyer from the University of Chile Law School, she holds diplomas in Information Technology, Administrative Law, and Telecommunications Law from the University of Chile; in Economic Sanctions Law from the University of the Andes; and in Strategic Litigation from Diego Portales University.

Vanessa advises companies on matters of competition law, economic regulation, and digital markets, with a special focus on investigations, sanctioning procedures, and the design of compliance strategies in highly regulated environments.

Vanessa is distinguished by her strategic, clear, and technically sound approach, geared toward supporting complex decisions and translating regulatory requirements into viable legal solutions with a business focus.

Vanessa has extensive experience in litigation and proceedings before the Chile’s National Economic Prosecutor’s Office, the Court for the Defense of Free Competition, the Constitutional Court, the Comptroller General’s Office, and sectoral entities, as well as in the preventive analysis of risks associated with commercial practices, market structures, and innovative business models, including fintech and digital platforms.

In the public sector, Vanessa served as Head of the Litigation Division at the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE). She was responsible for authorizations and contracting at the Undersecretariat of Telecommunications.

Vanessa has served on corporate boards, councils, and specialized committees. She also actively participates in technical, professional, and academic forums related to competition law and high-impact business disputes.
